The returning members have voted, and the location of the 2018 Classic event will be: Big Rideau Lake! Votes were as follows: Big Rideau – 17 Newboro – 7 Muskrat – 2 Ottawa River – 1
To sweeten the pot for 2018, BAA is pleased to announce that the winning team of “Team Of The Year” for 2018, will win their entry fees paid for the 2019 season! Team Of The Year (TOY) is based on the best 5 of each teams regular season weights. Good luck to all!
Claude Lefebvre and Eric Pruys will be continuing as BAA Executives for the 2018 season. Kevin McPhee has bowed-out due to other commitments. We thank Kevin for his work with BAA over the years! The 2017 Team of the Year standings are finalized! BAA uses a “best 5 of 6” system to award Team of the Year. As such, each team drops their lowest weight (even if it is a 0). The final standings are below. CONGRATS!

After a lightning show before and after the event, the 5th event of the 2017 BAA season on the Rideau River (Taylor Park) was won by Andy Dafoe and Brad Crook, with 16.64lbs, and Big Fish 1 weighing in at 5.09lb. Congrats to all of our winners! Next event is at Newboro Lake!
